This policy covers all apps published by Colorful River Holdings, including Fireside Terminal, on every platform where they are distributed (Amazon Fire TV, Google TV / Android TV, LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, Apple TV, and others).

What we collect

Using our apps collects nothing. There are no analytics, no advertising, no accounts, and no tracking of any kind, and the fire simulation and the music are generated on your device. The only data involved comes from the optional in-app purchase, described below, and on LG TVs only once you have agreed to it.

Network access

Our apps are designed to run offline. On Samsung TVs, Fireside Terminal streams its music as static audio files from a public content host instead of synthesizing it locally. Those downloads carry no personal information, no identifiers, and no telemetry. Purchases, and the license checks that go with them, use the network as described below.

Purchases

Fireside Terminal offers one optional, one-time purchase, the 80T87 THERMAL EXPANSION.

On Apple TV, Google TV / Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Samsung TVs, the purchase is processed entirely by the platform's own store (the App Store, Google Play, the Amazon Appstore, or Samsung Checkout). We receive no personal or payment information from these transactions.

On LG TVs, the purchase is made on your phone through Polar, our merchant of record, under Polar's own privacy policy.

• When you select INSTALL or DETECT, the app asks your permission to read your TV's LG device ID. Only if you agree does it send that ID and your TV model to our purchase server (pay.firesideterminal.online). The server stores a keyed hash of the ID, never the raw ID, linked to your license key, so the purchase can be restored on that TV. The hash and TV model are also passed to Polar with your license. If you decline, you can still buy, and you restore later by entering your license key.
• On a TV that owns the expansion, the app sends its license key to Polar or to our server when it starts, to confirm the license is still valid.
• Polar collects your email address and payment details at checkout. We receive your email address and order details from Polar. We never see your card or payment details.
• Like any web server, ours and Polar's receive your IP address with each request and may keep it in routine server logs.

We do not sell this data or use it for advertising. We keep the purchase record for as long as you own the purchase, so it can be restored. To have it deleted, email us at the address below.

Children

Using our apps collects no data from anyone, children included. Purchases are intended to be made by adults.

Changes to this policy

If a future update ever changes what data an app touches, we will update this page before that update ships.
